"My Special Angel" is a popular song by Jimmy Duncan, published in 1957. The song became a crossover hit in 1957 for Bobby Helms. It was revived in 1968 by The Vogues, a vocal group founded in Pennsylvania who had already scored top ten hits in the US with the songs "You're The One", "Five O'Clock World", and "Turn Around, Look at Me". The group's cover of "My Special Angel" reached number seven on the Hot 100 chart and fared even better on the Easy Listening chart, where it spent two weeks at number one in October 1968.
